In the version of this Article originally published, in Table 1, there was an error in the 'Period (equatorial J2000)' parameter value. The value '4.276057' should have been '4.296057'. Also, in the third paragraph of the main text, in the fifth sentence, the value '4.276057' should have been '4.296059'. These have now been corrected in all versions of the Article.
Based on a comprehensive analysis of the influencing factors and special features of cement concrete pavement overlaying technology, a fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (AHP) model is constructed for the comparison and selection of overlaying schemes. At first, the numerical weight for each criterion of the hierarchy is derived and tested. Then the feature matrices of all the schemes are constructed based on experts’ evaluation. The optimal scheme is chosen according to the numerical priorities of each scheme yielded by fuzzy calculation.
The rubber powder, mesh 20,40,60 and 80, were mixed into comparison plain concrete by the volume contents of 50,75,100 and 125 L/m3 of the aggregates, to make rubberized concrete. The specimen compressive strength is examined. The influence of rubber granule sizes, volumetric contents and the substitution pattern to the concrete strength is investigated. The results indicate that the rules of rubberized concrete must be considered when designed the mixed proportion with traditional volumetric method.
As advanced foundation treatment technologies, geogrid reinforcement and pile supporting are widely applied to the reinforcement of subgrade and giant oil storage tank foundations. The service behaviors of geogrid-reinforced and pile-supported composite foundations are explored through static tests. The focus is on its performance in the control and prevention of general and differential settlement and valuable conclusions are drawn of the study
Airport concrete pavement in high latitude northwest area attacked by sulfate of different extent, which influence early strength and ultimate strength of cement concrete. In this paper, the double doped silica fume and fly ash concrete have been made long-term immersion test research. From the mass loss rate, compressive strength and flexural strength, effect on the corrosion resistance are studied with fly ash, silicon ash adding in a composite Portland cement. Methods to improve the performance of sulfate attack resistance are obtained by experiment.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
