In order to research the effect of different cutting orders on breaking mechanism of TBM cutters for the rock without joints, this paper established the simulation models of breaking rock three TBM cutters in simultaneous and sequential orders, which is based on the 2D discrete element method. A series of numerical experiments were designed and the whole process of production and propagation of crack and rock breaking was successfully simulated. The simulation results showed that the cutter order determines the breaking mode, which is carefully analyzed: The chipping stress under the sequential order is higher than simultaneous way. The chips are formed by the side cracks under the two loading modes, while the shape of the rock chip are different. The distribution of the principal stress contour is almost symmetrical in different cutting order. Finally, conclusions and future work are summarized.
I2S (Inter-IC Sound Bus) is one of the general audio buses applied in various industrial or embedded systems. It only processes the audio data, while other signals like various codes and control signals are transmitted individually. This paper presents an approach how to construct an embedded audio system using the I2S bus to connect relevant supporting code chip and decode chip. This system can reduce the consumption of system resources drastically, therefore fluent WAV broadcast can be guaranteed. Moreover, the familiar media files, such as MPEG1, MPEG2, MP3, MPEG4 can be played through adding its decoder. The ARM chipset of the LPC2300 series is applied in this system, therefore, system’s reliability can be improved. This method can be wiedly used in vehicle- borne, ship-borne embedded flash players and portable media players.
As a large agricultural country, rice straw is a kind of inexhaustible and renewable resources in China. Since the rice straw is viscoelastic biological material with low density, it is not conducive to the transport and storage, and it affects the deep processing or secondary development and utilization. Due to the high compression ratio, on the other hand, straw densification briquetteing fuel (SDBF) is great convenience to transport and storage. Simultaneously, it improves the combustion properties of biomass fuels, and increases the efficiency in the use of biomass resources. It has an expansively developing prospects. Accordingly, how to effectively convert the loose rice straw into SDBF is gaining more and more attentions now. In this article, by researching the characteristics of the compressed rice straw fiber, biomass formation mechanism and its influence on shaping factors, the better conditions in processing of rice straw compression molding are concluded. Based on biomass compression molding technology, a kind of flat compression granulating machine was subsequently designed. And then we have designed compressed granulation molding trials on straw with different particle size and different pressures. Experimental results show that the granulation machinery can effectively reduce energy consumption, abrasion of equipment, and raise the productivity.
