Background: Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is the most frequent cause of death in patients on maintenance peritoneal dialysis (PD). This study aimed to identify the risk factors associated with cardiac complications and establish a multivariate logistic regression model for cardiac complications in patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD) requiring PD.Methods: This retrospective study included 232 patients undergoing PD. Data of sociodemographic information, comorbidities, medication history, laboratory examination, and medical history were extracted from the medical records of patients with ESRD who underwent maintenance PD between January 2015 and June 2020.
