Online education has become an important way of learning English at present, and English vocabulary teaching can improve the efficiency of English vocabulary teaching through target visual detection. However, from the existing research, it can be seen that there are still some shortcomings in English vocabulary recognition. In order to improve the English vocabulary recognition effect, based on machine learning recognition technology, this study combines English vocabulary recognition needs of online education to construct an English vocabulary detection model based on convolutional neural network. The model takes the word’s overall feature as the feature extraction principle and adopts the analysis and extraction of the joint segment feature. Moreover, it discards the complicated process of first dividing a single letter and then performing feature extraction and recognition. In addition, this study design example tests to perform algorithm performance analysis. The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm model has certain effects, and it can be used as an auxiliary algorithm for online English vocabulary teaching.
Psychological changes will often play a huge influence on the teaching effects in the English vocabulary learning and teaching process. To further explore the relationship of psychological regulation with English vocabulary teaching, the hybrid collaborative recommender technology may be underlying to propose a hybrid algorithm for studying how the English vocabulary teaching effect is subjected to the psychological emotion factors as parameters added in the original similarity calculation method in the psychological regulation environment where the emotion is the core of study. In the end, the paper conducts the questionnaire survey among 300 students. Test data show that positive emotion acts as the catalyst of the English vocabulary teaching effect, having basically reached the expected goal of study.
Abstract. The paper is a tentative endeavor to synthesize the merits and to make up for the deficiencies of the achievement in the study of English grammar teaching on ambiguity, with a focus on pragmatic ambiguity and its application for interpretation in cognitive framework. Meanwhile, it is hoped that more and more scholars and researchers have a clear understanding of the pragmatic triangle model so as to illustrate the mysterious language phenomena. PTM is more influential and powerful while being applied to explain and interpret pragmatic ambiguity, which can be concluded as follows. PTM puts more emphasis on the dynamic blending construction in human mind and focuses on showing up the hidden complexities involved in cognitive perception. The Theoretic Basis of Pragmatic Triangle Model (PTM)Referential theory: Referential theory is the theory of meaning which relates the meaning of a word to the thing it refers to or stands for. It is generally possible to explain the meaning of a word by pointing to the thing it refers to [1]. So the referential theory refers to the relations among concept, words and things. Ogden and Richards [2] in their book The meaning of meaning proposed the semantic triangle. They argue that the relation between a word and a thing it refers to is not direct. It is mediated by concept. They see the relationship between words and things as a triangle. The 'symbol' is of course the linguistic element──the word, the sentence, etc., and the 'referent', the object, etc., in the world of experience, while thought or reference is concept. Word(symbol)
As is known, English reading not only occupies all kinds of tests, but it is also an essential way for students to acquire knowledge, to accumulate vocabulary, to familiarize syntactical structure, to obtain new information and to develop students' critical thinking ability. Therefore, English reading teaching has been gaining increasing attention in foreign language teaching. With the reference of Kumaravadivelu's post-method theory, this paper adapts post-method approach to college English reading teaching creatively, and establishes a post-method reading framework, aiming to improve teaching efficiency, stimulate students' reading motivation and cultivate their critical thinking skills.
