Abstract--For orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM), we propose a new peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) reduction scheme with low complexity based on time domain signal combining. The proposed scheme superposes an OFDM signal and its phase shifted cyclic delay signal to generate a signal candidate with lower PAPR. It is shown that the proposed scheme provides PAPR performance performance comparable to the conventional schemes for with lower complexity.Index Terms -Peak-to-average power ratio, Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing, Cyclic delay signal, Phase shift
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
