With rapid development of 5G communication technologies, electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding for electronic devices has become an urgent demand in recent years, where the development of corresponding EMI shielding materials against detrimental electromagnetic radiation plays an essential role. Meanwhile, the EMI shielding materials with high flexibility and functional integrity are highly demanded for emerging shielding applications. Hitherto, a variety of flexible EMI shielding materials with lightweight and multifunctionalities have been developed. In this review, we not only introduce the recent development of flexible EMI shielding materials, but also elaborate the EMI shielding mechanisms and the index for "green EMI shielding" performance. In addition, the construction strategies for sophisticated multifunctionalities of flexible shielding materials are summarized. Finally, we propose several possible research directions for flexible EMI shielding materials in near future, which could be inspirational to the fast-growing next-generation flexible electronic devices with reliable and multipurpose protections as offered by EMI shielding materials.
We have synthesized a novel molecule, 3,6-bis(1-methyl-4-vinylpyridium)carbazole diiodide (BMVC), for recognizing specific quadruplex structures, particularly the quadruplex of human telomeric sequence d(T(2)AG(3))(4). The fluorescence intensity of the BMVC molecule increases from 1 to almost 2 orders of magnitude upon interacting with various DNAs. At a concentration of BMVC of 10 microM, fluorescence bands with different colors of BMVC in electrophoresis gels of various DNAs can be observed. The fluorescence of BMVC can be used to discriminate between duplex and quadruplex DNAs. At the low concentration of 0.1 microM BMVC in prestained gels, the fluorescence is observed in the presence of quadruplexes with anti-anti-anti-anti and anti-anti-syn-syn arrangements. However, no fluorescence band is detected upon interacting with duplexes and quadruplexes with anti-syn-anti-syn arrangement. Moreover, the sensitivity assays show that as little as 0.2 pmol of quadruplex of d(T(2)AG(3))(4) can be revealed by BMVC.
All-inorganic cesium lead halide perovskites (CsPbX 3 , X = Cl, Br, and I) have attracted considerable attention with superior electrical and photophysical properties. In this study, luminescent perovskite (CsPbBr 3 ) quantum dots (QDs) as sensing elements combined with molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) are used for the detection of omethoate (OMT). The new MIPs@CsPbBr 3 QDs were synthesized successfully through the imprinting technology with a sol− gel reaction. The fluorescence (FL) of the MIPs@CsPbBr 3 QDs was quenched obviously on loading the MIPs with OMT, the linear range of OMT was from 50 to 400 ng/mL, and the detection limit was 18.8 ng/mL. The imprinting factor was 3.2, which indicated excellent specificity of the MIPs for the inorganic metal halide (IMH) perovskites. The novel composite possesses the outstanding FL capability of CsPbBr 3 QDs and the high selectivity of molecular imprinting technology, which can convert the specific interactions between template and the imprinted cavities to apparent changes in the FL intensity. Hence, a selective and simple FL sensor for direct and fast detection of organophosphorus pesticide in vegetable and soil samples was developed here. The present work also illustrates the potential of IMH perovskites for sensor applications in biological and environmental detection.
