Discentes. UFPB. Abstract: The objective of the research was to identify the information needs of students at the Federal University of Paraíba for the preparation of the Course Conclusion Work (TCC). Thus, for the development of the study, the methodology was classified as a quantitative approach and, as for the procedures, as a survey, through the use of a questionnaire applied to students at the Federal University of Paraíba. The survey showed that respondents partially know both the structure and the steps necessary for its preparation. Also according to the findings, respondents would be interested in courses that bring necessary information to help in the development of the TCC, considering that its elaboration and respective defense are mandatory for the completion of the course. Based on the findings, the research concluded that there is a need to develop complementary activities in the curriculum of courses to help students in the preparation of their Course Conclusion Work. This conclusion is in line with the findings of the studies by De Araújo et al. (2016), Clemente and Santos (2015), Carmo, Machado and Cogan (2015), Guedes and Guedes (2012), Brunetta et al. (2012), Oliveira (2012), and Bernini and Leite (2006). Keywords: TCC. Development of the TCC steps. Students. UFPB.
