By employing the 24 Mg(p, 6 He) 19 Na and 28 si(p, 6 He) 23 Al reactions [dcr/dD 'VlOO nb/sr], the mass excesses of 19 Na and 23 Al are found to be 12.974±0.070 MeV and 6.766±0.080 MeV,
