Background:Testicular torsion is a common cause of acute scrotum and is complicated by loss of testes. Local data on testicular torsion is limited. This study therefore aimed at determining the incidence and clinical presentation of patients with testicular torsion in our setup.Methods: This retrospective study reviewed files of 90 patients admitted to our hospital with diagnosis of testicular torsion from January 2011 to December 2015.Results: The mean age of presentation was 19± 6 years. Fifty-nine (66%) of the patients presented with right sided torsion while 5 (6 %) had bilateral torsion.
