ABSTRAK Taman nasional merupakan salah satu kawasan konservasi terbaik untuk menyaksikan keindahan fenomena alam terutama untuk flora dan fauna endemik, langka dan dilindungi (Kementerian Kehutanan, 2003) sehingga keberadaan taman nasional memiliki arti yang sangat strategis dan penting dalam keanekaragaman hayati tari peles. Taman Nasional Bukit Barisan Selatan memiliki keanekaragaman hayati yang sangat kaya. Oleh UNESCO, taman nasional ini ditetapkan sebagai Klaster Situs Warisan. Pegunungan Hutan Hujan Tropis Sumatera (Pegunungan Hutan Hujan Tropis Warisan Situs Klaster Sumatera) bersama dengan Taman Nasional Kerinci Seblat dan Taman Nasional Gunung Leuser. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan April hingga Mei 2020 di Taman Nasional Bukit Barisan Selatan (TNBBS), Kabupaten Bintuhan, Kabupaten Kaur, Provinsi Bengkulu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh informasi tentang keanekaragaman hayati flora dan fauna Taman Nasional Bukit Barisan Selatan, khususnya di kawasan taman nasional yang memiliki keanekaragaman flora dan fauna. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat banyak jenis flora dan fauna yang memiliki keanekaragaman jenis, ditemukan jenis mamalia dan jenis burung, serta tumbuhan di kawasan TNBBS. Kata Kunci: Keanekaragaman Hayati, Flora dan Fauna, Taman Nasional Bukit Barisan Selatan. ABSTRACT The national park is one of the best conservation areas to witness the beauty of natural phenomena, especially to witness endemic, rare and protected flora and fauna (Ministry of Forestry, 2003), so that the existence of a national park has a very strategic meaning. and important in the biodiversity peles dance. Bukit Barisan Selatan National Park has a very rich biodiversity. By UNESCO, this national park was designated a Cluster Heritage Site. Sumatra Tropical Rainforest Mountains (Mountainous Tropical Rainforest Herritage of Sumatra Cluster Site) along with Kerinci Seblat National Park and Gunung Leuser National Park. This study was conducted in April to May 2020 in the Bukit Barisan Selatan National Park (TNBBS), Bintuhan District, Kaur District, Bengkulu Province. This study aims to obtain information about the biodiversity of flora and fauna of the Bukit Barisan Selatan National Park, especially in the national park area which has a variety of flora and fauna. The results showed that there were many species of flora and fauna that had a diversity of species, found species of mammals and species of birds, and plants in the TNBBS area. Objektif. Adanya pandemi Covid 19 yang telah menyebar keseluruh dunia telah menghentikan banyak aktifitas manusia. Salah satu sektor yang paling berdampak atau terhenti ialah sektor pendidikan. Sekolah dan perguruan tinggi menutup akses mereka untuk diadakannya pendidikan secara tatap muka, sehingga menyebabkan beralihnya pengajaran tatap muka dengan menggunakan sistem virtual atau lebih dikenal dengan pembelajaran secara online atau daring. Pembelajaran secara online atau daring merupakan satu-satunya alternatif ditengah merebaknya virus mematikan tersebut, sehingga menuntut guru maupun siswa untuk pandai dalam memanfaatkan teknologi dalam menunjang pendidikan. Pembelajaran online atau daring artinya harus siap memanfaatkan teknologi dan aplikasi yang mendukung pembelajaran secara online tersebut. Salah satu teknologi yang digunakan ialah menggunakan internet yang terhubung dengan komputer atau handphone dimana terdapat banyak aplikasi atau platform pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan. Salah satunya ialah menggunakan Google Classroom, aplikasi ini merupakan fitur belajar dari perusahaan besar Google yang sangat bermanfaat dalam belajar ditengah pandemi Covid 19 ini. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas dan persepsi siswa terhadap Google Classroom dalam diskusi online. Material and Metode. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik sampling yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah total sampling dengan mengamati percakapan belajar siswa selama menggunakan Google classroom kemudian kuisioner diberikan untuk mengetahui pendapat siswa terkait penggunaan Google Classroom dalam diskusi online. Kemudian data yang didapatkan di interpretasikan dan dijabarkan sesuai dengan kondisi nyata yang ada. Hasil. Dalam diskusi online yang telah dilakukan menggunakan Google Classroom mengindikasikan bahwa partisipasi siswa dalam diskusi online selalu meningkat dan memberikan tanggapan saat berdiskusi. Selain itu juga hasil yang diberikan melalui kuisioner menunjukan penggunaan Google Classroom memberikan dampak positif dalam penggunaannya selama pembelajaran online atau daring akibat pandemi Covid 19. Kesimpulan. Diskusi online dengan menggunakan Google Classroom memberikan cara baru dalam belajar ditengah pandemi Covid 19 ini. Pemanfaatan aplikasi ini sangat membantu dalam proses belajar mengajar terutama dalam berdiskusi secara online. Oleh karena itu, pengunaan Google Classroom sangat menunjang kegiatan diskusi online selama belajar secara online atau daring ditengah pandemi Covid 19.
The COVID-19 pandemic has stopped face-to-face learning in schools and switched to using online learning. This study aims to find out the use of video based learning in teaching English in schools during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study used the literature method by collecting and conducting in-depth literature studies. In various studies they were stated that learning by videos have been proven to be able to help teachers and students effectively in encouraging the development of new strategy in the classroom. The result of the study shows that the use of video as a media in English learning has a positive effect and can improve cognitive abilities, learning performances, developing interests, motivation and better understanding of the concept of the lesson being taught.
The integration of technology in classroom activities can provide innovation in the learning process. The teacher should use the proper technology or learning platform that can attract students motivation in learning activities so that students can improve their understanding of the materials being taught. There are many technologies or learning platforms that teachers can implement in the learning process; one of those is the Kahoot learning platform. This research is conducted to find out the barriers faced by English teachers when implementing the Kahoot learning platform during English learning activities in the classroom. This research used a qualitative through descriptive approach. The informants in this research are three English teachers who implemented the learning process by using the Kahoot learning application. The data was collected through observation, a questionnaire, and an interview to know how barriers occurred in the learning process during the use of the Kahoot application. The data was analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion. The results showed that there are some barriers that teachers face during the implementation of the learning process through the Kahoot learning application. They are: 1) student technology; 2) student interest; 3) preparation; 4) clear instruction; and 5) time management.
Information and communication technology (ICT) has developed so rapidly and become an inseparable aspect of human life. The development of information and communication technology (ICT) has been used by many people to facilitate and help human activities, including in the educational aspect. Nowadays, many teachers and educators use technology to help them to deliver and to transfer teaching materials to students. One of the most frequently used technologies today is video call (VC) which is a means of communication where a person can communicate directly by looking at the other person. Therefore, this study aims to see the improvement of students' speaking skills in English when using video call conversation (VCC) as one of the learning media. The method used in this research is mix method. The research data was obtained by giving speaking test and questionnaires to 35 students who took English classes, then interviews about the use of video call conversations were conducted with 15 selected students. The results shows that students experienced increased confidence when speaking English by using video call conversation (VCC) when compared to not using video call conversation (VCC). Then, students feel more interested and comfortable speaking in English when using video call conversations (VCC).
