Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis keefektifan pembelajaran fisika dengan pendekatan STEM (Science, Technology, Engginering, and Mathematics) untuk meningkatkan kreativitas mahasiswa. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah pre-eksperimen one group pre-test and post-test, yang dilakukan terhadap 23 mahasiswa yang sedang menempuh perkuliahan fisika dasar di Universitas PGRI Semarang. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dari pre-test dan post-test kreativitas mahasiswa dan observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran oleh dosen dan aktivitas mahasiswa. Hasil tes kreativitas dianalisis menggunakan uji-t berpasangan dan n-gain untuk menghitung kriteria peningkatannya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran fisika dengan pendekatan STEM adalah efektif untuk meningkatkan kreativitas mahasiswa dengan kriteria sedang. Peningkatan kreativitas mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran fisika dasar dengan pendekatan STEM didukung oleh keterlaksanaan pembelajaran yang ditunjukkan dengan aktivitas dosen dengan kriteria baik dan aktivitas mahasiswa yang relevan dalam kriteria baik. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of physics learning with the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) approach to improve student creativity. The research design used was a pre-experiment of one group pre-test and post-test, conducted on 23 students who were taking basic physics at the Universitas PGRI Semarang. The data was collected from the pre-test and post-test of student creativity and observation of the implementation of learning by lecturers and student activities. The creativity test results were analyzed using paired t-test and n-gain to calculate the improvement criteria. The results showed that physics learning with the STEM approach was effective in increasing the creativity of students with moderate criteria. Increased student creativity in basic physics learning with the STEM approach is supported by the implementation of learning as indicated by the activities of lecturers with good criteria and the activities of relevant students in good criteria.
This study aims to find out how much influence the cooperative learning model of the poster-assisted STAD type media on the learning outcomes of fifth grade students of SD Negeri Penanggulan Kendal, knowing how much influence the poster-assisted STAD cooperative learning model on the learning outcomes of grade V students of SD Negeri Penanggulan Kendal. Design of the Experimental research method. Design of Intact-Group Comparison. The results showed an increase in student learning outcomes that can be seen based on the results of the pretest and posttest, controls and experiments that have been done.. It was proven in testing the hypothesis, which states that the value of count smaller than at value (1.74 ˂ 4.28) which means H0 is accepted and Ha is rejected. The calculation shows that there are differences in student learning outcomes after using poster media on the STAD type cooperative model in the teaching and learning activities that have been carried out. So it can be concluded that learning using the poster media on the STAD type cooperative model is effective against students' mathematics learning outcomes.
The design of a teaching model must qualify to be applicable or practical and effective, therefore the research aimed to analyze the practicality and effectiveness of the IBMR (Investigation-Based Multiple Representation) teaching model in improving physics problems solving skills of bachelor programs’ students. The research was conducted by applying the one-group pre-test and post-test pre-experimental design to 186 students of study program of physics education, mathematics education, and mechanical engineering. The practicality of the model is assessed using an observation sheet and the effectiveness is determined based on pre-test and post-test physics problem solving skills. The collected data were analyzed using the calculation of average scores of the feasibility of each phase of the IBMR, t-test, and n-gain. The results show that each phase of the IBMR teaching model can be implemented by a lecturer with good and reliable categories, and relevant student activities, so that the IBMR teaching model is practicality qualified. It is also effective shown by: there are increasing score of physics problem solving skills at = 5%, average n-gain with moderate categorized and not different or consistent for each pair of groups, and good-categorized students’ responses on each component of teaching. This study aims to determine the environmental literacy of students at SMP Negeri 5 Taman. The sample in this study were students of class VII totaling 45 students. The collection of student environmental literacy data in this study uses the standard assessment of Middle School Environmental Literacy Survey (MSELS). Data collection techniques used in this study include interview methods and test methods. Data analysis and data interpretation in this assessment are data reduction, categorization, synthesis, and working hypothesis. The results showed that the environmental literacy of SMP Negeri 5 Taman students had an average value of 58,48%, which was sufficient criteria. The results of the study are based on environmental literacy indicators, each indicator obtains a different average value of ecological knowledge of 8,71 % (sufficient criteria), cognitive skills of 3,24% (less criteria), environmental awareness attitude of 89,11 % (good criteria), and environmentally responsible behavior of 45,20% (good criteria).
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahi pengaruh model pembelajaran Discovery Learning dengan menggunakan media video tehadap hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SD Gemah Semarang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dalam bentuk Pre-Experimental Design dengan jenis One Group Pretest-Posttest. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV A. Sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV A SD N Gemah yang terdiri dari 40 siswa. Dalam menentukan pretest dan posttest, dilakukan uji validitas soal instrumen yang telah divalidkan oleh validator. Setelah diperoleh data dari hasil pretest dan posttest, di analisis menggunakan uji- t. Diperoleh thitung = 23,817 dengan taraf signifikan 5% sebesar 0,226. Karena thitung = 23,81 > ttabel = 0,226. Maka Ha diterima hal ini menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran Discovery Learning dengan media video berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SD N Gemah. Berdasarkan hasil prenelitian ini saran yang dapat disampaikan adalah supaya model pembelajaran Discovery Learing dengan menggunakan media video dapat dijadikan salah satu alternative guru untuk mengajar pada tema pahlawanku maupun pembelajaran yang lain.
