RESUMOCom uma história inusitada, o licor é uma bebida alcoólica apreciada por todas as classes sociais, independente da época do ano. Na região Nordeste do Brasil estão as formulações artesanais, que atravessam gerações e que sofrem a influência dos tempos modernos com novos ingredientes e diferentes sabores e viscosidades. Este estudo aborda a importância da bebida para a região Nordeste, sua relação com o resgate da memória afetiva e a sustentabilidade, a partir da análise de estudos publicados anteriormente. Os dados constantes dos estudos, demonstram a criatividade e inovação como características marcantes dos produtores, seja com o uso de matérias primas exóticas, alternativas de comercialização no período de pandemia, e criação de cooperativas como forma de sair da informalidade e agregar valor aos produtos e produtores. In the Northeast region of Brazil are handcrafted formulations, which span generations and which are influenced by modern times with new ingredients and different flavors and viscosities. This study approaches the importance of drinking for the Northeast region, its relationship with the recovery of affective memory and sustainability, based on the analysis of previously published studies. After analyzing the data contained in the studies, it was concluded that creativity and innovation are striking characteristics of producers, whether with the use of exotic raw materials, trading alternatives during the pandemic period, and the creation of cooperatives as a way out of informality and adding value to products and producers.
