Issues related to the measures aimed to improve the competitiveness of tourist destinations have currently become most urgent. The number of competing tourist destinations in Russia and worldwide is on the rise, leading to tough competition among market participants that feel necessary to improve the efficiency of management in the tourism industry. Tourism development in the regions can be considered as a factor of regional socio-economic development. The research contains recommendations on the management of tourist resources, and measures aimed to enhance the region’s tourist attractiveness by the example of the resort city of Sochi.
The purpose of this article is to identify the differences in the perception of Russian and foreign traditions by various age groups of Russians (18-25, 26-35 and 36-50 years old, later referred to as Group 1, Group 2 and Group 3). The article contains an assessment of the use of European traditions within the Russian reality and the attitudes of the Russian people towards borrowing European customs. The authors collected data using questionnaires applied in 2019 in Moscow. The sample consisted of 300 respondents. The SPSS Statistics 22.0 tool was used for data analysis and processing. Qualitative research was also used through an in-depth interview and visual analysis of screenshots of photos from Russian films (2019). Two opposing views have been identified. First, borrowing from European traditions has a positive influence on Russian culture. Second, there are indications of a threat to the loss of individuality of culture and national identity of the Russian population as a result of this process.
The article argues the specifics of modern multinational companies, their global economic coverage and serious challenges. Particular attention is paid to the structure of transnational companies (especially international transport companies), as it is very difficult to manage them, because geographically, sometimes being on different continents, they are inevitably, on the one hand, must maintain their recognizability - brand, products, and on the other hand - to meet the specifics of the country where the branch of the company, consumer demands, cultural peculiarities, perhaps even a completely different way of the environment.
The article argues for the analysis of the advantage of the measure for the implementation of the system of remuneration of employees within the framework of prevention of intra-organizational conflicts, which consists not only in the fact that the efforts of each employee will be directed simultaneously to achieve the goals of the enterprise and to meet their own needs, but also in the ability of employees to determine at what level (grade) it will work more effectively. In its turn, training for the management of the organization will contribute to the prevention of vertical conflicts and, accordingly, to the improvement of the efficiency of the entire organization.
