Los artefactos, tecnologías, cosas, técnicas, materiales y materialidades son los aspectos visibles de la reciente publicación titulada Tecnologías en los márgenes. Esta nos lleva por diferentes aristas de un asunto que la antropología -y algunas áreas afines como la arqueología- ha tratado desde su inicio, a saber, tratar la clásica pregunta sobre la distinción entre personas y cosas. Sin embargo, a diferencia de los abordajes funcionalistas, deterministas y simbólicos, este libro nos lleva a lo largo de sus capítulos etnográficos por los caminos trazados por la antropología contemporánea. Este libro puede considerarse una pieza hipercúbica imprescindible que esboza varios caminos alternativos a la aproximación contemporánea imperante en las ciencias sociales de habla hispana (p.ej., estudios de las ciencias y las tecnologías o el Actor-Network Theory).
