Camera calibration technique has important research and application value in the field of computer vision, and its precision directly affects the three-dimensional reconstruction effect. This paper elaborated the principles of the existing camera calibration methods: traditional camera calibration method, camera self-calibration method, and camera calibration method based on active vision, and analyzed the performance and application of each method. Camera calibration method based on laser ranging was presented, and its principle and realization process was given. Finally, pointed out the further research direction on camera calibration.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
