The new intermetallic compounds Ca11Sb10 and Ca11Bi10 crystallize tetragonal in the Yb11Sb10-structure type. There are 4-membered Sb(Bi)-rings, Sb2(Bi2)-dumb-bells and isolated Sb(Bi)atoms in the structure
Die bisher unbekannte Verbindung CaSb2 wurde dargestellt, analytisch gesichert und ihre Struktur an Einkristallen bestimmt (a = 4,746(10), b = 4,177(10), c = 9,084(10) Å, β = 106,3(1)°, Raumgruppe P21/m, z = 2). Auffallendes Strukturmerkmal sind SbSb‐Zickzackketten (SbSb = 2,92 Å und 2,94 Å); die Verbindung ist zu den Zintl‐Phasen zu rechnen.
The new intermetallic compound Sr3As4 has been prepared and structurally characterized by X-ray single crystal methods. Sr3As4 crystallizes orthorhombic with a = 1484 ± 2 pm, b = 1789 ± 2 pm, c = 597 ± 1 pm, space group Fdd2. Remarkable element of the structure are As4-chains.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
