An automatic zero power factor standard has been designed and compared to a digital sampling wattmeter standard. The agreement of the two power measuring standards at 120V, 5A and zero power factor is within a few ppm.
A new method is described which makes it possible to compare thermal voltage converters with a ratio of 2: 1 without introducing any error due to level dependence. Measurement results are presented and error sources are analysed.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
