This report described the clinical and pathological findings of 6 cases of different types of anomalies of the tracheal cartliage. Literatures of tracheal anomalies were reviewed and an attempt was made to correlates types of tracheal cartilage anomalies and the malformations in the other organs. Classical type of tracheomalacia is not usually associated with the other malformations. The cases with fatal tracheal cartilage anomalies usually show malformations in other organs, particularly in the respiratory and osteocartilaginous system. Tracheal cartilage anomalies may be one of the important elements in the cases of systemic abnormalities of the osteoCartilaQinous anomalies.
