Purpose: The media industry is crucial in arranging images and discourses that have an impact on society. Many media companies are relying on social media to power their production and distribution processes. To thrive in a highly competitive world, innovation is seen as a critical component in overcoming the pressures of changing social, economic, and technical conditions. The relationship between management and innovation in the media sector is the primary subject of this research. It represents concerns that have an impact on the organizational structures, strategies, media content, and audience perception. Daijiworld Media is a Mangalore-based Indian media company that specializes in news and entertainment. through its website, TV channel, Youtube channel, weekly magazine, audio-visual studio, radio, IT company, and OTT platform. This paper examines the company's evolutionary growth, highlights the company's services and subsidiaries, investigates the company's strengths, weaknesses, challenges, and opportunities, uncovers the company's hiring and training procedures, examines its finance strategy and CSR initiatives, and assesses the impact of COVID on the company. Methodology: This is an exploratory study based on primary data, and information is gathered by interviewing officials from Daijiworld, the Daijiworld Website, and news articles. Findings: Daijiworld Media is a Mangalore-based Indian media company that specializes in news and entertainment services through its website, TV channel, Youtube channel, weekly magazine, audio-visual studio, radio, IT company, and over-the-top (OTT) services, Throughout its twenty year history, this organization has researched the media and entertainment field and endeavored to respond to diverse customer expectations, from daijidubai to daijiworld, from daijiworld monthly magazine to audio-visual studio, from tv channel and radio to OTT. This company has studied the media and entertainment field and attempted to cater to various consumer demands during its twenty year history. The news on daijiworld is accurate, verifiable, and timely. It has content in all local languages to reach out to a wider range of audiences. They host different reality shows and help in the exposure of local talents. They constantly strive to come up with innovative concepts and content. Daijiworld Pvt Ltd is constantly striving to improve and adapt to market developments to be competitive. Research limitations/implications: Complete information or research papers on Daijiworld Pvt Ltd are not available so contacting their multitasking busy officials for more information was little challenging. Purpose: The entertainment industry (casually known as Show Business) is included in the tertiary sector of the economy and embraces fields so theater, films, fine arts, dance, music, television, radio, media, sports, cultural events, etc. This industry is continuously evolving with innovations and ideas for the industry. It is developing dynamically in terms of revenue and volumes employing creative and technical people. It witnessed explosive growth during post liberalization that led to internationalization and expansion of the market. This study explores the evolution, growth, threats, challenges, future trends, and impact of FDI on the Indian entertainment industry. This study uncovers the impact of internationalization and its potential for providing employment. Methodology: This study is based on secondary data including Google, online journals, reports, and news articles. Findings: Initially, the entertainment started with storytelling, a way to pass on their culture, traditions, values, and history. The introduction of television brought a big change in entertainment and now online entertainment is on-trend and this way the method of delivering entertainment has expanded progressively. The Indian government has increased the percent of FDI’s and many international collaborations have helped the Indian entertainment industry to grow nationally and internationally There is a lot of employment opportunity in the entertainment industry from the people who work on screen and behind the screen. But due to the pandemic, few classes of workers in the industry are suffering but others are surviving in the online platforms. Television has retained its position as the largest entertainment segment, while digital media overtook the print entertainment sector, and online gaming overtook a filmed entertainment segment. In the future, the online form of entertainment will overpower and the OTT platform will boom. Research limitations/implications: Very few sources are available for references, few concepts are not highlighted and most of the information is outdated hence the collection of relevant information was a challenge. Originality/value: This paper brings to focus the imperative of due consideration by the Government and other regulating bodies to adopt some incentive measures to boost the Indian entertainment industry, being a sunrise industry, and also try to work on the personal and financial safety and stability of all the stakeholders of the entertainment industry, especially during abnormalities like the present pandemic-. Purpose: Media is the plural version of medium, which in general refers to any channel of communication. An audience is defined in media studies as any group of individuals who consume media information, not just those who are in the same location at the same time. Today, media influence is so powerful that it may easily influence people both positively and negatively. We also live in a society that is heavily reliant on media for information and entertainment. The nation’s future is determined by the caliber of its youth. Youth can make a significant contribution in every field. However, new research indicates that youth media creation has the potential to improve young people's relationships with the media in ways that benefit media institutions, youth themselves, and, eventually, our democracy. Hence it’s very important to study the interrelationship between media and the youth audience. Methodology: This review paper examines the relationship between the media and youth using secondary data from journal papers and scholarly research publications. Findings: Research has shown that the media has an impact on the physical, mental, and emotional health of youth in both positive and negative ways. Studies show that the media has influenced young people’s suicide inclinations. It has been discovered that the youth were enticed to attempt sex, smoking, alcohol, and other narcotics, and subsequently became addicted. According to research, the media has an impact on youth political and religious participation. According to the research, media has influenced the lifestyle of youth. The studies have revealed that media has increased cybercrime in youth. It has been discovered that the majority of young people accept media content without questioning its veracity. Originality/value: This research explores the relationship between the media and the youth audience, which covers youth perception, media participation, and the influence of media on the youth.
