A superconductive perceptron, an artificial neural network, has been investigated using single flux quantum (SFQ) stochastic logic. A superconductive pseudo sigmoid function generator that corresponds to an artificial neuron device for the perceptron has been proposed and implemented using an SFQ current comparator and a frequency-to-current converter, which generates current that is proportional to the average input SFQ frequency. A frequency-to-current converter has been implemented using a dc-SQUID voltage driver coupled with a Josephson transmission line. We implemented and tested the pseudo sigmoid function generator using the SRL 2.5 kA/cm 2 Nb process. The measured input-output characteristic agreed with the ideal sigmoid function with an average error of 0.063%.
We have developed a new 12-bit driver IC with linear Digital-to-Analog converter circuits. The driver has a newly proposed pointto-point link interface named PPmL and a new gamma control circuit. The proposed interface can achieve high data-transfer rates that full-HD resolution LCD-TVs require, and our new Digital-to-Analog converter circuits can output any gamma curve controlled with only several hundred bit length parameters
We have developed a novel linear digital‐to‐analog converter using a capacitor coupled adder for LCD driver ICs. The proposed 12bit linear DAC can output 4096 voltage levels from only 128 reference voltages. The die size of the proposed 12bit linear DAC is quite smaller than the conventional non‐linear 10bit Resistor‐Resistor‐String DAC (RR‐DAC).
In this paper, a low-power consumption level-shifter used the clamping circuit technique and LTPS (Low Temperature Poly Silicon) technology for TFT-LCD (Thin Film Transistor-Liquid Crystal Display) i5 proposed. The new proposed level-shifter can achieve to convert from the input amplitude of 0-+3 IVI to the output amplitude of ()-'+10 IVI by using only one input signal. The power consumption of the proposed level-shifter can be reduced about 112 than that of the conventional one under the conditions of the +10 IVI power supply voltage, the 1 IpFI load capacitor and the 2 IMHzl operating frequency. For an application of it, the proposed level-shifter can be adopted to the high-voltage generator.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
