The research on self-compassion and prosocial behavior showed a significant positive relationship. But there are also studies showed that there is no significant relationship between self-compassion and prosocial behavior. Agreeableness has a positive and significant relationship with self-compassion and prosocial. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between self-compassion and prosocial behavior mediated by agreeableness. This research is a quantitative research with 184 subjects from Batu 1 State Vocational School aged 15-18 years. The instruments used were Self Compassion Scale -Short Form (SCS-SF), Prosocial Behavior Scale, and Big Five Inventory. Analysis of the data used is mediated multiple regression in SPSS 21. The results of statistical analysis show the value of the relationship of self-compassion, agreeableness and prosocial β = .082; p = .258 and a significant indirect relationship coefficient β = .118; z = 3.39; p = .00. These results mean that there is an indirect relationship between self-compassion and prosocial, which is mediated by agreeablenes. It can be concluded that agreeableness can be a mediator in the relationship between self-compassion and prosocial.
Subjek (15 tahun/ L) mengalami kesulitan dan keterlambatan dalam hal intelektual seperti membaca, menulis dan berhitung.Subjek juga mengalami kesulitan dalam berhubungan sosial.Asesmen dilakukan dengan menggunakan observasi, wawancara, tes psikologi dan tes intelegensi.Subjek memiliki masalah dalam keterampilan sosialnya.Hal itu disebabkan karena kurangnya contoh dan stimulus yang diberikan oleh lingkungan sekitarnya untuk dapat mengembangkan keterampilan sosialnya.Intervensi yang digunakan untuk menangani masalah subjek adalah dengan menggunakan reinforcement positif dan video modeling.Hasil intervensi menunjukkan terdapat perubahan yang positif pada diri subjek.subjek dapat berbicara dengan hati-hati sehingga perkatannya lebih jelas. Subjek juga sudah dapat mengajak temannya untuk berbicara dan menyapa temannya terlebih dahulu.Subjek berbicara dengan nada yang lebih tepat dalam setiap situasi.Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa intervensi yang dilakukan efektif untuk menangani masalah kurangnya keterampilan sosial pada subjek.
Hijab is fashion character for a muslim woman. The majority of college students on the campus are wearing hijab. The purpose of this study is to: 1) know about collegian understandingthat hijab is obligatory, 2) know the motivation for wearing hijab in collegian of Muhammadiyah University of Malang. This research used qualitative phenomenon method. The selection of research subject using the technique of accidental amounted to 3 subject with criteria that isregistered as an active student of Muhammadiyah University of Malang and at her 1st -8th semester, using wearing hijab, and wearing it not more than 6 months. Method of collecting data were using interviews. Mean while the data analysis used was analysis of validation of data reduction. Based on the research results obtained information that the subject who have knowledge of the obligations to wearing hijab according to religion which is contained in Al-Qur'an has internal motivation in the form of a belief in her self that wearing hijab is a must. Mean while the subject who has no knowledge about the obligation to wearing the hijab has the motivation that are external such as wearing hijab because of the support and praise from their parents, friends and environment.
