The article provides an analysis of the financial stability of Kazakhstan’s economy. It was revealed that in our country, the presence of rich common resources and stable economic policy led to the formation of a favourable investment structure in the country and, as a result, to the rapid development of the national economy and the industrial sector. The article also considers the key risks and forecasts of the social and economic development of Kazakhstan for the coming years and their scenario forecasts for the further development of the republic. The goals of sustainable development are given separately in the article both in Kazakhstan and in the world according to online resources, in particular newspapers, and to the sources of the UN Development Program in the field of sustainable development. In general, the types of industry in Kazakhstan are also reflected: ferrous metallurgy (12.5%), non-ferrous metallurgy (12%), gas industry, chemical industry, textile industry (0,2%), engineering (8%), production of building materials, oil and oil refining industry, light industry (4%), food industry, fuel and energy complex. Kazakhstan is also a world leader in uranium production.
The authors present a methodology for using financial indicators to assess the value of companies. The article is dedicated to a comprehensive research of EBITDA. As a research objective, the authors identified an attempt to solve the problem of companies’comparability with identical proportions of financial results, the possibility of identifying the most financially stable companies. Based on the analysis of various interpretations, applying of this indicator in different directions is considered. As a component of various coefficients that characterize the company’s financial stability, it’s recommended to use the EBITDA indicator. The behooves and opportunities that open up when using it are revealed. The research shows to the need to apply this indicator, because this coefficient is able to more fully reveal the stability of the company, by increasing the amount of real profit, the amount of which is limited due to the presence of a large share of non-cash expenses in companies. In the process of research, such general scientific methods as monitoring, comparison, description, systematic and analytical approach, comparative analysis, scientific abstraction, expert assessment, analysis of reasons and consequences were used.
The role of the political elite of the region in interaction with the Federal centre, especially for the national republics that are part of our country, is a determining factor in the development of any region of the Russian Federation. The political elite of the region is a social group that influences the process of territorial administration and decision-making in the region. The article considers the transformation of the political elite of the Republic of Dagestan in 2017–2020. The analysis of the regional elite of the Republic of Dagestan was carried out based on a resource-actor approach. As a result of the study conducted by the author, new political actors who play a decisive role in the socio-political development of the republic were identified.
