Osteochilus spilurus is one of the freshwater fish species in the Cyprinidae family which is found in the ancient river region of Sunda shelf which empties toward the North Natuna Sea. This article explores the biological, ecological, and potential characteristics of fish called Cempedik (local name in Belitung Island) as an aquaculture species. Research results and literature showed about feeding habits, reproduction, habitat, and aquaculture potential. It is abundant and well suited for culture in an established market insure, especially Belitung Island, but reproductive biology is not well understood. It can be preserved in an artificial environment, and it is possible to become aquaculture species as well as other osteochilus genera.
Geometry is one of the subjects in mathematics school that is important to learn, because through geometry, almost every daily problem can be solved. However, the achievements of Indonesian students in the field of geometry are still relatively low. This study aims to identify the possibility of students' learning obstacles in one area of geometry, which is circle subject. The method used in this study was qualitative research method with survey-based research design, involved 30 eight-grade students from a junior high school in Bandung. The data were collected by triangulation method using an instrument test consisting of tests of students mathematical comprehension ability that is related to circle subject, and the non-test instruments used consist of collection of observations, guidelines for student interviews, and study documents. Results showed that there were identified any types of learning obstacle caused by epistemological obstacle among others (1) learning obstacle related to the concept of sector caused by an error in the perspective of students, (2) learning obstacle related to the form of geometrical representation from the central angle of the circle caused by the student's limited knowledge of the central angle and chord of the circle. In addition, also found types of learning obstacle caused by didactical obstacle, among others (1) learning obstacle related to communication skills in presenting the definition of sector concept caused by not creating discussion and presentation activities when learning takes place, and (2) learning obstacle related the concept of the relationship between the diameter with chord of the circle caused by the presentation of material that is less detailed either provided by the teacher or presented in the source book used.
The Community Partnership Program (PKM) is a community service program that carried out in the village assisted by the Electrical Engineering Study Program at the University of Trunojoyo Madura. the program is a continuation of the Real Work Lecture program (KKN) which is carried out in the Even semester 2019/2020 involving students, as well as village officials. The village of Sabiyan is located on the coast of Madura where the average population still relies on electricity for daily activities. The problems faced by the people of Sabiyan village Bangkalan Regency are: the people of Sabiyan Village do not yet have the knowledge and skills to utilize renewable energy, lighting facilities are still limited so that not all citizens can get electricity, the price of Basic Electricity Tariff (TDL) is higher so it is necessary renewable energy reserves. With these problems, it is necessary to have a hybrid power plant training. Based on the results of the pre-test conducted on the training participants, the average value was 62.50 and the post-test value was 75.83, with a paired sample correlation of -13.33 so that it could be concluded that there was an increase in knowledge after the training was held
Academic integrity gives important contribution in developing high quality of education. One of important factors that contribute to academic integrity is religion, with religiosity as the expression of religion implementation. This present research focused on examining correlation between religiosity and academic integrity in students of SMK "X" Magelang. One hundred grade X, XI and XII boarding school students were participated in this research. Purposive sampling was used as sampling technique. The correlation between variables was measured by Academic Integrity Scale and Religiosity Scale. Result of Spearman Rho technique analysis showed that there was a significant positive correlation between academic integrity and religiousity, with correlation coefficient rxy = 0,526, and p < 0,000. This means that the higher level of subject religiosityshows the higher level of subjects academic integrity. Result of analysis also showed the effective contribution of religiosity, that was 27,7%. Thus, there were other variables contribute to academic integrity such as age, gender, education, intelligence, ethnicity, and so forth.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
