In this paper, Two main effected parameters on the efficiency of solar cell has studied: the increasing in the amount of intensity of incident solar irradiance on the surface of silicon solar cell and accumulation of dust on the front face of solar cell. The parameters of silicon solar cell (Isc, Voc, pmax, η) have been studied under various quantities of solar irradiations (G= 100, 172,252 and 606W/m2 ) at a constant temperature (TC=25±2) ͦ C. The results showed an increasing in the value of conversion efficiency( fromη=7.1% to η=10%) with the increasing of intensity of solar flux. But the dust had a reverse effect on the value of conversion efficiency , thus after one week there was noticeable of(∆Isc= 5%) degradation at value of short circuit that lead to decrease of conversion efficiency.
CdSe thin films were deposited on a glass substrate by using vacuum thermal evaporation technique. The deposited films were annealed to 350˚C for (10, 20, 30) minutes respectively. Structural, morphological, optical and electrical properties of the films were studied by using X-ray diffraction (XRD), ultraviolet-visible (UV-Vis) spectroscopy; and Atomic force microscope (AFM). The X-ray diffraction pattern showed that the film has a cubic phase with preferred orientation (111), the grain size was found to be in the range of( 31-46)nm. The UV tests explain that the energy bandgap decrease with increasing of annealing time from 2.43eV to 2.17eV after 20minute annealed.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
