Takayuki UCHIHIRA and Kazunori NAKAJIMATo investigate the effect of social inclusion on preventing isolation and loneliness, we developed a simple screening tool to evaluate social isolation and loneliness, conducted an interview-format questionnaire survey in the Station Marche, and examined the effectiveness of the Station Marche as a social prescription. The results of this study were as follows. Including isolated and lonely people who do not usually visit the station, the Station Marche is a place that any type of isolated and lonely person can visit often. In conclusion, we suggest that the station march can function as a social prescription to help prevent loneliness.
