This paper repons an o study of determining the capacitiiiicc frotn [lit given permittivity patterns and describes thc image recmsrructioii method for Electrical capacitance Tomography (ECT). The model described i n this paper is a sqiiare abject with 8 electrodcr. The finite difference method and Gauss's l a w iirc used for calculating numerically the capacitance of the system. Linear back-projection is then utilized for the image reconstruction. To improve the image qualities. the iterarive algorithm and tlhe thresholding arc applied. The experimcnral results show that tlhe capacitance are readily evaluated and the reconstructed images are closely resemble the original images.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
