In our previous publication a model for serial wound DC motors was presented and a simulation program was described that is based on this model and had been developed in MATLAB environment. The recent publication presents the latest, extended version of the program and deals with the measurement of the electromagnetic and dynamic characteristics (electric resistances, dynamic inductances, bearing resistance and brush friction torque) of the above motor. From the measured characteristics, the program simulates the operation of the motor, calculating its torque, rpm and current intensity, as a function of time. To check the accuracy of the measured characteristics, and also the proper operation of our program, locked rotor response test measurements were carried out on the motor and their results were compared with the simulated ones. Finally, a recently developed heat energy recovery system is presented, which can be used on electrical drives.
Highlights A simulation model is presented for series DC motors in MATLAB environment. The model applies characteristics depend on current intensity and rpm as input. The set-up and procedure for measuring the above characteristics is described. The reliability of the characteristics and model were proved by test measurements. A heat energy recovery system applying TEG modules was developed and tested.
Napjainkban az egyik legnagyobb ütemben fejlődő biztonságtechnikai terület a biometrikus azonosítók világa. A kutatócsoport a biometrikus azonosításon belül a járásfelismerés szakterületével foglalkozik. A kutatócsoport megvalósított egy olyan komplex járásfelismerő rendszert NI LabVIEW fejlesztőkörnyezetben, amely képes univerzális kamera segítségével detektálni több egyidejű referenciapontot, és képes a gyűjtött mintákra előre definiált görbét illeszteni. A program továbbá képes a referenciagörbére és az aktuális görbére illesztett függvényeket meghatározott módon összehasonlítani és kiértékelni, hogy azonos-e két járáskép vagy sem. A programban mentési és visszatöltési funkció is helyett kapott, amely hozzájárul a referencia járáskép előállításához. A járásfelismerést megelőző lábelemző program a pontosság növelését szolgálja. A saját fejlesztésű járásfelismerő rendszert több személyen is teszteltük, mely tesztek közül idegen személy esetén egyszer sem mutatott egyezést a program.
In our previous publication a model for series wound direct current (SWDC) motors was described and a simulation program was presented which is based on the above model and was developed in MATLAB environment. In the publication mentioned above, the measurement process of the parameters (bearing resistance torque, electric resistances, dynamic inductances) of the SWDC motor was also described. From the parameters the program calculates the current intensity, rpm and torque of the motor as a function of time. The recent publication is about the realization of the above program applying the Control Design and Simulation Module of NI LabVIEW. This module enables the adjustment of input parameters (e.g. supply voltage) during the running of the program, thus the realization of real time driving simulation. In addition, among others, it can be applied with data acquisition, GPIB, CAN, and FPGA (field-programmable gate array) hardware platforms of National Instruments.
In this project we made an image processing software that we used to examine drone flight stability. One can read about the closed loop control of a quadcopter, the computer vision technics and the results of the test under real circumstances.
