Incluir o resumo.
It is expected that future health professionals have a consolidated training in a generalist view with human, ethical, critical, and reflective principles. The present study aimed to understand how an interprofessional team recognizes, in its professionals’ academic training areas, the teaching-learning process learned about the Brazilian Public Health System. The qualitative method was used, with semi-structured individual interviews and focus groups. The results found that Primary Health Care is an area with low interest for professional performance and inconsistent academic curricula for professional training. This study invites us to reflect on the fact that higher education training should be substantially closer to the bases of the health system in force in the country, given the need to train future health professionals able to assist the singularities of the health-disease process in the community
Despite growing global efforts to control tobacco use, it remains a common addiction. Passive smoking is the inhalation of smoke from tobacco derivatives by non-smokers, breathing in the same toxic substances that the smoker inhales. The objective of this systematic review was to identify the possible effects of passive smoking on the health of children and adolescents. The PICO tool was used to prepare the research question. The protocol of this study was submitted to PROSPERO and the PRISMA guidelines were followed. The following databases were used: LILACS, MEDLINE and EMBASE. As a result, 493 articles were identified from the last 5 years, 8 articles were removed for being duplicates, 439 articles were excluded for not meeting the inclusion criteria, 8 articles were excluded for poor methodological quality and 38 were included in the study. It was concluded, as evidence, that passive smoking has negative effects on the health of children and adolescents and was associated with respiratory, infectious, psychoneurocognitive, metabolic, cardiovascular, otorhinolaryngological, allergic disorders and increased mortality.
Interprofessionalism encompasses teamwork, knowledge construction, open dialogue, and respect among the peculiarities related to professional practice. This study consists of a systematic review, structured by the P.V.O. is does Primary Health Care (V - variable), favor the development of interprofessionalism (O - outcomes), during the training of higher education health students (P - population). We used searches of the PubMed (United States National Library of Medicine Service) and SciELO (Scientific Electronic Library Online) databases with descriptors from the DeCS (Descriptors in Health Sciences) and MeSH (Medical Subject Headings) platforms. The Medical Education Research Study Quality Instrument (MERSQI) was used to assess risk of bias and quality. After reading and analyzing the 15 selected articles, three categories emerged: "The dimensions of interprofessionalism in the strengthening of Primary Health Care"; "Interprofessionalism and the teaching-learning process in health"; "Perspectives for interprofessional training in higher education: challenges in implementation and possible solutions". Primary Health Care favors the development of interprofessionalism in many countries, especially in Brazil. However, it is up to the academic staff to use this strategy to advance interprofessional competencies in health education. It is indicated that more didactic-pedagogical resources on interprofessional education be developed and implemented, in such a way that Primary Care is the focal point for the development of interprofessionalism.
