Recently the Rural tourism business is quite rapidly developing, first of all due to increasing demand for such services, as well as because of businessmen striving to take advantage of governmental support for rural tourism homesteads. Still the uptake of support may lead to inappropriate development of rural tourism homesteads. The purpose of this article is to assess the impact of governmental support on the development of rural tourism homesteads. The methodology applied in the article: the correlation analysis in order to assess the methods of the impact of support on the rates of rural tourism homesteads and the calculation method of the support concentration, which may be applied when assessing the appropriate distribution of the support among the regions..The results of the research have revealed that the support impact on the development of rural tourism homesteads is adequate, however the support is improvable more relating it in future with the abilities of rural tourism homesteads to attract more customers choosing a longer stay in the rural tourism homestead.
