Undergraduate Studies in Physical Education in Students' OpinionIntroduction. The aim of this study was to assess the effects of the undergraduate studies in physical education at the Academy of Physical Education and Sport (APE&S) in Gdańsk and Faculty of Physical Education and Sport (FPE&S) in Biała Podlaska of the Warsaw University of Physical Education (UPE). Material and methods. The study included a total of 247 last semester students of full-time education course. The paper uses a method of diagnostic survey with auditorium questionnaire technique. Referring to the provisions of the Bologna Declaration on the implementation of two-degree studies and based on students' opinions, research was conducted in form of comparative studies. Evaluation included circumstances of the choice of study, conditions of study, expectations of respondents to the education and degree of their implementation. Results. Subjects taking physical education studies are mainly motivated by interests. They hoped to gain knowledge and skills for further education and professional competence. They highly appreciated the degree of fulfilment of expectations in this regard. Conclusions. There was a large convergence of views presented by students of both universities on the education process and its outcomes.
The subject matter of the present paper pertains to issues associated with the significance of university social responsibility. The paper outlines theoretical concepts and results of own studies connected with activities undertaken by a socially responsible university. Actions which take stakeholders' expectations into consideration are regarded as responsible. Consequently, vocational training of university graduates constitutes the focus of the paper. Results of own studies indicated several discrepancies between the expected and acquired competences of university graduates.

Ten element procesu kszta cenia staje si bowiem coraz istotniejszy nie tylko z perspektywy rozwoju karier absolwentów, ale tak e innowacyjno ci poszczególnych regionów. W prezentowanym opracowaniu podj ta zosta a problematyka przedsi biorczo ci akademickiej, mierzonej aktywno ci studentów w podejmowaniu dzia alno ci gospodarczej. Celem autorek by a identyfikacja czynników determinuj cych postawy przedsi biorcze badanych studentów. Materia empiryczny uzyskano za pomoc metody sonda u diagnostycznego z technik ankiety przeprowadzonej w ród 390 studentów drugiego stopnia kszta cenia w publicznych szko ach wy szych Lubelszczyzny, realizuj cych kszta cenie w obszarach inteligentnych specjalizacji. S owa kluczowe: edukacja przedsi biorcza, przedsi biorczo akademicka, inteligentne specjalizacje.
Introduction. The objective of the study was a comparative analysis of the results of unified and two-tier university studies in physical education at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport in Bia³a Podlaska of the University of Physical Education in Warsaw. Material and methods. The study utilized 128 full-time final semester students. The study utilized a diagnostic poll and random survey method. On the basis of respondents' opinions, the following results were analyzed: respondents' expectations regarding their education and the level of their fulfilment, forms of activities undertaken during studies, professional plans and opinions regarding the course of studies in PE. Results. The analysis revealed that, when making the decision to study physical education, respondents expected to gain directional competences and knowledge and skills enabling further education. Respondents highly regarded the level of these competences gained. The majority of respondents expressed a wish to find employment in the education sector and other institutions of physical education. Conclusion. The result of the research indicated that transforming unified Master's studies into two-tier university studies did not bring about fundamental changes in the outcome of studies in physical education.
