Cloud computing is the architecture in which cloudlets are executed by the virtual machines. The most applicable virtual machines are selected on the basis of execution time and failure rate. Due to virtual machine overloading, the execution time and energy consumption is increased at steady rate. In this paper, BFO technique is applied in which weight of each virtual machine is calculated and the virtual machine which has the maximum weight is selected on which cloudlet will be migrated. The performance of proposed algorithm is tested by implementing it in CloudSim and analyzing it in terms of execution time, energy consumption.
Grid type of network is highly vulnerable to various types of attacks. Major is black hole attack in the grid. This attack will produce the denial of service. Such that node destruction will be taken place. Every data arrives at this node will be dropped in between. In result will drop the performance of the network. To protect the system from this kind of attacks they have uses the centralized IDS(Intrusion Detection Scheme). The distributed type of intrusion detection system is the system in which malicious node has been detected. Such that less amount of energy is wasted. Also there requires less time to consume to transmit the data from source to destination. The performance parameters has shown that there is improvement in the proposed technique compare to the grid based existing technique. There is a improvement of both time of communication and remaining energy parameter. There is a improvement of around 30%.
