Several aldose-containing compounds, including di-(b-D-glucopyranosyl)-bis-diphenylsilyl-2,2,4,4-tetraphenylcyclodisilazane, di-(b-D-glucopyranosyl)-bis-dimethylsily-2,2,4,4-tetramethylcyclodisilazane, 1-b-(2,3,4,6-tetra-O-acetyl)-D-glucopyranosyl-2-pyrrolidone, and -e-caprolactam were synthesized and examined for biological activity. The synthesized compounds suppress the growth and development of phytopathogenic microbes. The influence of various fragments on the antibacterial activity of compounds is established.
Pyrrolidon (I) bzw. Caprolactam (IV) reagieren mit Chlormethylsilanen (II) und (VI) in Gegenwart von Kaliumcarbonat zu den N‐Silylmethyl‐lactamen (III) bzw. (V) und (VII).
Reaction of acrylamide (I) with the diorganylchlorosilanes (II) produces the silalactams (III), together with the disilabislactams (IV) as by‐products.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
