1H-3-methyl-4-ethoxycarbonyl-5-substituted-benzylidene-hydrazino-pyrazoles are important intermediates in obtaining various heterocycles including pyrazolo triazoles. To our knowledge, few studies have been conducted on the electrochemical behaviour of these compounds. In this paper we present further insights on the voltammetric behavior of these compounds in nonaqueous media, with the following para substituents grafted on the benzene ring: -H, -F, -Cl, -CF3 ,-Br, -I, in order to investigate the influence of the various substituents on the mechanism of anodic oxidation.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
