The article summarizes the results of investigation the problem of assessing the impact of the level of logistics development on the goods turnover of the world countries. The paper shows the positive impact of the logistics development on the size of total exports and imports of goods and services, as well as theoretically and empirically justified factors which weaken and reinforce this effect. The exogenous factors are the level of economic development and the regional location of countries. When considering the created effect the most significant endogenous factors are the reduction of costs for customs processing and the possibility of organizing transportation between countries at relatively low prices.
