Labor Fishermen poverty has been an issue for a long time. Several factors cause fishermen poverty, environmental conditions of resources, culture, and structural. The purpose of this paper is to propose a community empowerment model, especially labor that the government can carry out in collaboration with universities and industry. The model formulated in this paper is compiled by conducting a study of the fishermen’s life in the village of Menganti Cilacap. In-depth interviews with fishermen and the village government are done to collect the data. An analysis was conducted to identify fishermen’s needs through government cooperation with universities and industries related to fishermen. The Triple Helix strategy, in this case, is carried out by researchers from Jenderal Soedirman University (university), the Menganti regional government, and the Department of Industry, Trade and Cooperatives (government), and the Mina Sidat Bersatu Cooperative (Industry). Implementing the triple helix strategy is expected to produce real breakthroughs that can be applied directly to improve labor fishermen’s welfare.
The purpose of this study is to examine whether negative framing and sunk costs affecting the escalation of commitments with an educational background as moderating variable. The study uses an experimental study approach with 2 x 2 x 2 within-subjects design. There were 39 managers from a state-owned enterprise who participated in this experiment. The result indicates that sunk costs and negative framing effect the escalation of commitment. In contrast, the educational background did not moderate the relationship between sunk cost and negative framing to the escalation of commitment.
<em>The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of information asymmetry and invidual factors such as compensation satisfaction, locus of control and competency on the tendency for doing fraud in procurement of goods/services. The population in this study are all employees of Procurement Services Unit (ULP), Procurement Official (PP) and Committing Officer (PPK) in all State Universities in DKI Jakarta Province. This research uses saturated sampling technique, where the entire research population is used as respondent. Multiple linear regression is used to analysis the data. The results shows that asymmetry of information has no significant influence on the tendency of individuals in fraud procurement of good/services. Compensation satisfaction has no significant influence on individual tendencies in fraud procurement of goods/services. Moreover, External locus of control and competence have a positive influence and significant on the tendency of individuals to commit fraud in procurement of goods/services</em>
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimanakah gaya kepemimpinan dan komitmen organisasi pengaruhnya terhadap keinginan berpindah kerja karyawan. Dari paparan teoritis maka dapat dirumuskan hipotesis bahwa ada pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan terhadap keinginan berpindah kerja karyawan, dan ada pengaruh komitmen kerja terhadap keinginan berpindah kerja karyawan. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengumpulan data yang dipakai, adalah metode angket sebanyak 50 responden angket digunakan untuk mengetahui gaya kepemimpinan dan komitmen organisasi. Hasil analisis regresi berganda menunjukan konstanta sebesar 9.528 yang menunjukan bahwa ketika nilai semua variabel bebas 0 maka besar keinginan berpindah kerja adalah 9.528, Koefisien regresi X1 sebesar 0.029 menyatakan bahwa apabila setiap peningkatan variabel gaya kepemimpinan (X1) sebesar satu satuan maka akan menyebabkan peningkatan keinginan berpindah kerja sebesar 0.029 satuan. Koefisien regresi X2 sebesar 0.139 menunjukan bahwa apabila terjadi kenaikan satu satuan variabel komitmen organisasi (X2), maka akan terjadi kenaikan keinginan berpindah kerja sebesar 0.139 satuan
