Information becomes a necessity that cannot be separated from everyone, both in work, study, and in daily lives. The development of information is supported by the ease of internet access that is present today both for ordinary people and for an institution. In the work environment at the STIKES Bhakti Husada Mulia Madiun, the search for information using the internet is usually done, especially in meeting daily information needs. One of the most frequently sought information is about parenting carried out by new moms who work in BHM STIKES and have children under five. New moms who work cannot fully accompany their children even though the important moment of a child in his growth period at 0 to 5 years old or commonly called the child's golden age. So that information about parenting is expected to help in daily parenting. This study will analyze how the information seeking behavior about parenting by new moms who work at STIKES Bhakti Husada Mulia Madiun. The informants in this study were new moms who worked on STIKES BHM with employee status, active lecturers, lecturers who were studying further, and laboratory assistants.Keywords: new moms; seeking information behavior; parenting; STIKES BHM. AbstrakInformasi menjadi suatu kebutuhan yang tidak lepas dari setiap orang, baik dalam pekerjaan, studi, maupun dalam kehidupan sehari-harinya. Perkembangan informasi didukung dengan kemudahan akses internet yang hadir saat ini baik bagi masyarakat biasa maupun bagi sebuah institusi. Dalam lingkungan kerja di STIKES Bhakti Husada Mulia Madiun, pencarian informasi menggunakan internet sudah biasa dilakukan, terutama dalam memenuhi kebutuhan informasi sehari-hari. Salah satu informasi yang sering dicari adalah tentang parenting yang dilakukan oleh ibu baru yang bekerja pada STIKES BHM dan memiliki anak usia balita. Ibu baru yang bekerja tidak dapat mendampingi anaknya secara penuh padahal moment penting anak dalam masa pertumbuhan adalah di usia 0 sampai 5 tahun atau biasa disebut usia emas anak. Sehingga informasi tentang parenting diharap dapat membantu dalam pola asuh sehari-harinya. Tujuan Penelitian ini akan menganalisis bagaimana perilaku pencarian informasi tentang pola asuh atau parenting untuk anaknya oleh ibu baru yang bekerja di STIKES Bhakti Husada Mulia Madiun. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah ibu baru yang bekerja pada STIKES BHM dengan status karyawan, dosen yang aktif mengajar, dosen yang sedang studi lanjut, dan laboran.Kata kunci: ibu baru; perilaku pencarian informasi; pola asuh; STIKES BHM

Libraries have used media development as part of the culture to influence people to use the library. An example of the use of media as a means of mediation is the PerpuSeru program. Previously, this program partnered with 34 libraries, but currently, the PerpuSeru program has partnered with more than 400 libraries and reading parks in Indonesia. One of the media used in transferring information is Instagram; PerpuSeru has an Instagram account namely @perpuseru in which various information about the PerpuSeru program is available and the extent to which the program is running. The purpose of this study was to determine the extent of the followers’ perceptions in receiving information provided on the @ perpuseru Instagram by decoding-encoding theory, to examine the extent this theory developed in a media in the present era, and the role the theory played in the media. This study used the descriptive qualitative research method by interviewing some followers of the @perpuseru account. The result found two different views from followers, namely followers with a hegemonic dominant point of view who accepted all the content of information conveyed, and others with a negative perspective who had other considerations in receiving information on the posts of @perpuseru account. However, there were no followers with optional viewpoints. It can be concluded that the two perspectives of @perpuseru Instagram followers are the hegemonic and negative perspective.

Tahun 2020-2021 adalah masa transisi dari awal pandemi menuju ke era normal. Perpustakaan menjadi salah satu instansi yang terkena dampak pandemi Perpustakaan mengikuti kebijakan pemerintah dengan menerapkan pembatasan sosial dan  memberikan layanan online bagi mahasiswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah memberikan gambaran hasil analisis penggunaan mobile library STIKES Bhakti Husada Mulia. Mobile Library sebagai upaya perpustakaan dalam memberikan inovasi layanan terhadap mahasiswa selama masa pandemi. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif deskriptif pada pengguna mobile library STIKES Bhakti Husada Mulia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa terbantu dengan adanya mobile library, memudahkan dalam mendapat literatur. Mereka tidak harus datang langsung ke perpustakaan terutama pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir, untuk mendapatkan layanan koleksi yang diperlukan.

Tahun 2020 dimulai dengan isu pandemi yang merebak, hingga pada akhirnya banyak kampus dan perpustakaan yang menutup akses untuk pengunjung. Perpustakaan STIKES Bhakti Husada Mulia salah satu yang melakukan penutupan akses kunjungan fisik di perpustakaan selama 2 bulan. Setelah perpustakaan mulai dibuka kembali antusias mahasiswa untuk datang ke perpustakaan masih tinggi, namun adanya pembatasan jumlah kunjungan mengakibatkan mahasiswa tidak dapat maksimal untuk berada di perpustakaan, utamanya adalah mahasiswa yang sedang menyelesaikan tugas akhir. Hal inilah yang mendorong pustakawan untuk dapat memberikan kemudahan akses informasi terutama pada mahasiswa yang sedang menyelesaikan tugas akhirnya melalui akses online repositori. Repositori memuat jurnal, skripsi, laporan tugas akhir, dan laporan mahasiswa yang biasa dijadikan referensi untuk menyelesaikan penulisan tugas akhir dan dapat dinikmati secara full text.

Libraries provide services for anyone, regardless of their social or economic interests, so that they have a non-discriminatory nature in providing good services in the library. Rural library into the container provision of reading materials as a source of education and community empowerment. Facing COVID-19 is not easy. It becomes a challenge for community to stay active and productive. Social inclusion has been introduced in many public libraries in Indonesia. Through this social inclusion, the library wants to further improve the welfare of community, especially in the rural areas. This chapter discusses the conceptualization of information for development which accommodates the concepts of advancement of literacy and development information for the community. The purpose of this service is to be able to provide services to rural communities so that it is easier to access information.
