This paper presents the finite element algorithm and results of dynamical analysis of cracked plate subjected to moving oscillator with a constant velocity and any motion orbit. There are many surveys considering the dynamic response of the plate when there is a change in number of cracks and the stiffness of the spring k. The numerical survey results show that the effect of cracks on the plate's vibration is significant. The results of this article can be used as a reference for calculating and designing traffic structures such as road surface and bridge surface panels.
In this paper, a new four-variable refined plate theory for dynamic analysis of stiffened functionally graded composite plates reinforced by carbon nanotubes (SFG-CNTRC) subjected to blast loadings is developed. The governing equations of the system are obtained using the finite element method. The Newmark’s time integration is used to solve the vibration equations for determining the dynamic response of the plates. To check the validity of the present formulation, numerical results are compared with the previous data in the literature. The effects of volume fraction of carbon nanotubes, thickness of the plate, and boundary conditions of the plate on the dynamic response of the SFG-CNTRC are studied.
The disclosure level in the interim financial reporting is important to users when making business decisions. Useful information from interim financial reporting ensures timeliness and flexibility of business operations. Information disclosures that ensure completeness will enhance the quality of information for users. The paper aims to examine the factors of corporate governance that affect the disclosure level in interim financial reporting of Vietnamese commercial banks. To test the model, ordinary least squares (OLS) are used. For the data of this study, 286 samples of 30 commercial banks were studied and time series data were used for 10 years from 2010 to 2019. The results show that there are two factors that positively influence the disclosure level in interim financial reporting, such as the Board size and foreign Board members. Thus, the paper offers some policy recommendations for the Central bank of Vietnam and Boards of directors of commercial banks, as well as investors to improve disclosure in interim financial reporting.
This paper presents some results of experimental study of dynamic response of three-dimensional steel frame on coral foundation at the Song Tu Tay Island subjected to pulsed loads. This is one of the contents of the project with code corried out by the survey, experiments on the Song Tu Tay island of the Truong Sa archipelago of Vietnam. The findings by the authors were compared with the results of theoretical calculations to examine the appropriateness of the model and theoretical research methods, to give assessments, comments having scientific and applied meanings, especially for the construction of structures on the Shoals around atolls of the Truong Sa archipelago.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
