Coherent population trapping resonances in pure alkaline micrometric thin cells are considered as an interesting alternative for the development of miniaturized atomic frequency references. Theoretical and experimental results are presented.
Communications and Power Industries, Inc (CPI) produced 81 klystrons for the Spallation Neutron Source at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. The klystrons are rated for 550 kW peak at 805 MHz. The klystron production and factory test data provided confidence the device would provide reliable service. Seventy units have accumulated 866,000 hours of filament operation and 633,000 hours of high voltage operation to date.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
