INTRODUCTIONLes indications des laryngoscopies directes sous anesthésie générale ou laryngoscopie en suspension (LES) sont nombreuses dans un but diagnostique et/ou interventionnel (1). La LES est réalisée aux fins de diagnostic des pathologies laryngées morphologiques, neurologiques, inflammatoires et tumorales. Results : SL were performed for 147 cases (63,64%) of functional laryngeal disorders including 78 cases (33,77%) of laryngeal dyspnea and 69 cases (29,87%) of dysphonia. In 84 cases (36,36%) SL was used for microsurgery such as excision of papilloma (n=68), removal of foreign bodies (n=7) and a repair of synechia (n=5). The final results was constituted by 152 (65,80%) benign tumours and falsies tumours, 43 cancers (18,61%), 15 case (6,49%) of traumatic pathology. In 9 cases (3,90%) the examination was normal. Conclusion : SL were mainly performed for exploration of laryngeal functional disorders. Only limited surgical acts interesting management of the papillomatosis and laryngeal traumatism were perfomed.
