Introduction: The elderly population in the world, a growing trend in the demographic dynamics, for this reason, nursing care practices require the systematization and synthesis of the scientific evidence about cultural competence and transcultural nursing to improve the quality of care to this population. We ask ourselves: what are and what is the validity and usefulness of existing evidence about the practices of care to the elderly taking into account cultural competence and transcultural theory? Objective: Synthesize qualitative scientific evidence in nursing with cultural competence care for older adults, in order to recover and to describe the best evidence. Methods: Systematic review of the literature in the Iberoamerican Scientific Space, following a protocol in seven phases of execution restarts from proposed by Guerra, Muñoz and Santos Lozano (2003). Objetivo: Obtener una estructura estandarizada para la elaboración y publicación de respuestas a dudas clínicas relacionadas con los pacientes siguiendo la metodología de la enfermería basada en la evidencia. Metodología: se llevó a cabo una revisión de las revistas cientí-ficas del contexto iberoamericano y anglosajón que publican artículos con metodologías de práctica basada en la evidencia. A continuación se realizó una revisión por expertos en investigación secundaria y se consultó a un panel de profesionales asistenciales para consensuar la estructura y contenido de este formato de publicación. Estructura de la respuesta a dudas clínicas: el formato establecido consta de 8 apartados dentro de los que se enmarcan diferentes pasos del proceso de práctica basada en la evidencia: descripción de la situación clínica, preguntas susceptibles de respuesta, búsqueda de bibliografía, resultados y respuesta a la pregunta. Utilidad esperada: Este formato estandarizado pretende tener un valor de difusión de evidencias y de elemento facilitador para la transferencia e implementación de las mismas en el ámbito clínico gracias a su estructura sencilla para la elaboración y compresión de los resultados expuestos. PUBLICATION OF CLINICAL EVIDENCE-BASED GUIDELINESObjective: to develop a standardized structure for the elaboration and publication of clinical doubts´ answers following the evidence-based nursing methodology. Methods: first journals publishing this type of articles were reviewed, including Spanish and English journals. Then, a review was performed by secondary research experts and a clinical panel was enquired to revise the content and structure of this publication format. Structure of the publication: the format contains 8 sections, in which different steps of evidence-based practice are included: description of the clinical situation, clinical questions, literature search, results and answer to the question. Expected utility: This standardized format aims to have value for disseminating evidence and facilitating the transfer and implementation of the evidence in the clinical setting due to its simple structure for the development and the understanding of its results.
