A Cu(OAc)2-promoted cascade carboamination/oxidative cyclization of alkenes with α-imino esters has been explored. This transformation provides a concise approach to rapid assembly of 2-oxo-3-iminopyrrole derivatives in moderate to good yields.
A TiCl 4 -mediated intermolecular or intramolecular direct N-alkylation reaction of sulfonamides with inactive ethers as alkylating agents was successfully achieved. This method provides a novel approach towards N-alkyl sulfonamides from inactive ethers via an easy workup procedure.
An efficient BF3•Et 2 O-promoted benzylation of arenes and heteroarenes with various benzyl ether derivatives has been developed. This method provided alternative access to valuable diarylmethane in good yields under mild conditions via an easy work-up procedure.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
