The aim of this study is to determine the opinions of university students about technology-supported education. In today’s era, technological tools are used in every sector of education. Today, when technologies are rapidly developing, the opinions of students studying at university institutions about technology are very important. As per the outcome of the research, it is important to know the opinions of working people in terms of competen-cies and attitude towards the technology. The research was carried out in the fall semester of the 2019-2020 academic year with 75 students studying at the Federal University of Kazan (Volga region), the Institute of Legislation and Comparative Law under the Government of the Russian Federation, Plekhanov Russian University of Economics and Sechenov University. As the case study method was adopted in the study, researcher prepared open-ended questions as a data collection tool. In this research, qualitative meth-od was used. According to the results obtained from the research, it was concluded that they did not feel themselves competent in technology, they did not have enough equipment and their schools are not equipped for technology-supported education.
The Volatility Index (VIX) is a real-time index that has been used as the first measure to quantify market expectations for volatility, which affects the financial market as a main actor of the overall economy that is sensitive to the environmental and social aspects of investors and companies. The VIX is calculated using option prices for the S&P 500 Index (SPX) and is expressed as a percentage. Taking into account that VIX only shows the implicit volatility of the S&P 500 for the next 30 days, the authors develop a model for a near-optimal state trying to avoid uncertainty and insufficient accuracy. The researchers are trying to make a contribution to the theory of socially responsible portfolio management. The developed approach allows potential investments to make decisions regarding such important topics as ethical investing, performance analysis, as well as sustainable investment strategies. The approach of this research allows to use deep probabilistic convolutional neural networks based on conditional variance as a linear function of errors with the aim of estimating and predicting the VIX. For this purpose, the use of technical indicators and economic indexes such as Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) VIX and S&P 500 is considered. The results of estimating and predicting the VIX with the proposed method indicate high precision and create a certainty in modeling to achieve the goals.
The pandemic of the new coronavirus infection, determined, the need for accelerated transformations in the fi of national health, as well as a change in the usual principles and approaches in the system of higher medical education. The article, using the example of the Sechenov University case as the flagship of higher medical education in the country, analyzes the experience of operational restructuring of the organization of the university’s activities and highlights the key vectors of the educational process reorganization and training of medical personnel in the context of the spread of COVID-19.Sechenov University, based on the existing digital content modified the lecture materials into a digital format, adapted individual distance learning algorithms to the educational process of a medical university. The result is the preservation of the quality of education, the adaptation of educational programs, taking into account new formats and technologies for the delivery of knowledge, a flexible response to the demands of consumers of educational services of the University.
At present, the problems in one way or another related to the risk of involving young people in illegal activities are recognized as the most pressing. In addition, the issues of well-being of various environments of an individual's existence are recognized by the expert community and require close consideration. The educational environment is a unity of psychological and pedagogical reality, the purpose of which is to solve educational problems in the presence of specially organized conditions; tasks aimed at socializing students; as well as tasks for the formation and development of the student's personality. The solution to the listed tasks in the educational environment, along with its psychological and pedagogical support, can act as an alternative to the aggressive social environment which results in the growth of sociogenic diseases. In this regard, this paper presents an empirical research program developed by the authors aimed at studying the psychological and pedagogical security and safety of the educational environment as a factor in providing the national security of the Russian Federation. The paper presents the results of a theoretical and methodological analysis of the main factors and risk indicators of the safety of the educational environment (school baiting (bullying), delinquent behaviour among children and youth, suicidal behaviour of children and adolescents, the problem of psychoactive substances use, the problem of Internet addictions); the research methodology has been substantiated; methodological tools (psychodiagnostics tools, sociological and pedagogical methods, methods of mathematical statistics) have been chosen. In addition, the proposed results have been identified in the framework of the research program, which are designed to contribute to the problem of ensuring the psychological and pedagogical security and safety of the educational environment in educational institutions which is being solved by the world psychological science.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
