Ao vivenciarmos a era tecnológica, imediatista e globalizada, ferramentas para interações sociais e disseminações de informações e notícias são imprescindíveis, uma vez que, inibem as barreiras geográficas comunicacionais. A partir dessa constância, compartilhamos as experiências da Assessoria de Comunicação (ASCOM) da Universidade Federal de Goiás (UFG)/ Regional Goiás com a ferramenta de transmissão ao vivo do Facebook. Atentos às perspectivas de estratégias comunicativas para maior visibilização da instituição, a experiência superou as expectativas quanto à repercussão, o que demandou uma análise minuciosa dessa rede social e seus acessórios. ABSTRACT To experiencing the it was technological, immediate and globalized, tools for social interactions and dissemination of information and news are essential, since they inhibit geographical communication barriers. From this constancy we share the experiences of the Advisory Office of Communication (ASCOM) of the Federal University of Goiás (UFG) / Regional Goiás with the live streaming tool from Facebook. Concerned with the perspectives of communicative strategies for greater visibility of the institution, the experience surpassed the expectations regarding the repercussion, which demanded a detailed analysis of this social network and its accessories. RESUMEN Al vivenciar la era tecnológica, inmediatista y globalizada, herramientas para interacciones sociales y diseminaciones de informaciones y noticias son imprescindibles, ya que, inhiben las barreras geográficas comunicacionales. A partir de esa constancia, compartimos las experiencias de la Asesoría de Comunicación (ASCOM) de la Universidad Federal de Goiás (UFG) / Regional Goiás con la herramienta de transmisión en vivo de Facebook. Atenta a las perspectivas de estrategias comunicativas para una mayor visibilización de la institución, la experiencia superó las expectativas en cuanto a la repercusión, lo que demandó un análisis minucioso de esa red social y sus accesorios.
