Pênfigo é a denominação geral de um grupo de doenças autoimunes raras que acometem pele e mucosas e apresenta-se com formação de bolhas intraepidérmicas. O Pênfigo Vulgar (PV) é uma doença vésico-bolhosa crônica, rara, de natureza autoimune, quando não diagnosticada e tratada na sua fase inicial apresenta prognóstico grave. Este trabalho tem como objetivo relatar um caso clínico de uma paciente do gênero feminino, 32 anos de idade que apresentava manifestação de Pênfigo Vulgar. Asmanifestações bucais são, em sua maioria, os primeiros sinais da doença e o cirurgião-dentista possui papel fundamental no diagnóstico precoce.

The rehabilitation of teeth that have been lost by caries or fractures in young individuals, which still has growth potential, proves to be a challenge, especially for economically disadvantaged individuals, as conventional forms of rehabilitation such as fixed or removable dentures and prostheses implant at · Revista Bahiana de Odontologia. 2015 Abr;6(1):47-51 · 48 high cost. An alternative treatment for the replacement of compromised teeth is dental transplantation. The tooth transplantation is demonstrated as a viable option, mainly because it is a relatively simple, inexpensive and can be performed by the dentist in centers specialized in dentistry. Objective: The Objective of this paper is to review the literature about the transplant tooth and discuss the feasibility of using this technique as an alternative therapy for rehabilitation of children and adolescents assisted by public health services. Materials and methods: A search was conducted in the databases Pubmed, Bireme, Lilacs and Scielo, with issues related to oral rehabilitation in young people. Conclusion: The dental transplantation, it is shown as an effective technically and economically feasible to SUS.

A violência e o uso indiscrimidado das armas de fogo, independente da classe social, tornaram os ferimentos por projétil de arma de fogo (PAF), comum nos grandes centros e geralmente acometem a região maxilofacial, principalmente o terço inferior da face. Nos ferimentos por PAF em face, predominam as fraturas cominutivas em mandíbula e a presença de focos infecciosos. Apesar das diversas possibilidades para tratamento das fraturas mandibulares, o uso de fixadores externos tornou-se uma opção válida principalmente nos casos de fraturas complexas associadas à um quadro infeccioso, mesmo sendo adaptados para o uso em face. O objetivo deste trabalho é apresentar um caso clínico de um paciente vítima de ferimento por PAF em face com fratura cominutiva em região sinfisária de mandíbula, admitido no serviço de Cirurgia Bucomaxilofacial do Hospital Santo Antonio - Salvador-BA. O tratamento proposto foi a redução incruenta da fratura e estabilização usando o sistema de fixação externa. Treatment for fracture mandibular of firearm with external fixation: case report The violence and the indiscriminate use of firearms as, regardless of social class, injuries made by a firearm projectile common in large cities and usually involve the maxillofacial region, mainly lower part of the face. In the wounds for firearms in face, the communited fractures in jaw and the presence of infections focus predominat. Although the diverse possibilities for treatment of the mandibular fractures as the rigid internal fixation, the external fixation use mainly became a valid option in the cases of complex fractures associates with infection, exactly being adapted for the use in face. The aim of this work is to present case report of a patient victim of firearm in face with communited fractures in jaw, admitted to the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery of the Hospital Santo Antonio - Salvador-BA. It was opted as treatment the closed reduction of the fractures and stabilization using the system of external fixation. A reabilitação de dentes que foram perdidos por cáries ou fraturas em indivíduos jovens revela-se um desafio, sobretudo para os indivíduos economicamente desfavorecidos, pois as formas convencionais de reabilitação como as próteses fixas ou removíveis e as próteses sobre implantes apresentam alto custo. Um tratamento alternativo para a reposição dos dentes comprometidos é o transplante dentário. O transplante dentário demonstra-se como uma opção viável, principalmente por ser uma técnica relativamente simples, de baixo custo e pode ser realizada pelo cirurgião-dentista em centros especializados de odontologia. Objetivo: O objetivo deste trabalho é revisar a literatura a cerca do transplante dentário e discutir a viabilidade do uso desta técnica como alternativa terapêutica para reabilitação de crianças e adolescentes assistidos pelos serviços públicos de saúde. Materiais e mé- todo: Foi realizada uma busca nas bases bibliográficas Pubmed, Bireme, Lilacs e Scielo, com temas relacionados a reabilitação oral em jovens. Conclusão: O transplante dentário, mostra-se como uma técnica eficaz e economicamente viável ao SUS.
