This work will make known about the Top-Down methodology and its benefits, which is currently used in the Construction of Stations for Line 2 of the Lima Metro. We propose the investigation, considering the use of this new methodology as a consequence of the vehicular chaos that the country presents, which led to the construction of Line 2 of the Metro, looking for new technologies that cause the least social impact, reducing the execution period and reducing the restoration time of the intervened road. The research was carried out through consultations, gathering information on different types of projects on this new Top Down methodology, comparing with the traditional Bottom Up construction process, considering different criteria such as terms, costs, TIR, VAN, vehicle restoration time, security for the construction of one of the stations (E-23 Hermilio Valdizán) evaluating which is more favorable.
