Latar belakang: Berdasarkan data profil kesehatan Kabupatan Bandung diketahui cakupan ASI eksklusif pada bayi < 6 bulan telah mencapai angka 63,84% sedangkan di Kecamatan Cileunyi baru mencapai 55,54%. Angka ini masih jauh dari target capaian ASI eksklusif di Indonesia berdasarkan PP nomor 33 tahun 2012 pasal 6 adalah 100%. Banyak faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi pemberian ASI secara eksklusif. Tujuan dilaksanakannya penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan pemberian ASI eksklusif di Desa Cimekar Kecamatan Cileunyi Kabupaten Bandung.Metode: Observasional analitik dengan desain cross sectional. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 68 ibu dengan bayi usia 6-12 bulan yang bertempat tinggal di Desa Cimekar dengan teknik simple random sampling. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner terstruktur untuk mengetahui karakteristik sampel (pekerjaan, pendidikan, pengetahuan, dan sikap ibu), dukungan keluarga, dan tenaga kesehatan..Hasil: Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan pemberian ASI eksklusif sebanyak 22,1% dan sebagian besar responden tidak bekerja (95,6%). Pendidikan lanjut (70,6%), pengetahuan baik (61,8%), sikap baik (63,2%). Dukungan keluarga baik (79,4%) dan dukungan tenaga kesehatan baik (60,3%). Tidak terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara pekerjaan, pendidikan, pengetahuan, sikap, dan dukungan keluarg dengan pemberian ASI eksklusif (p > 0,05). Sedangkan dukungan tenaga kesehatan berhubungan secara bermakna dengan pemberian ASI eksklusif (p=0,018) dan keeratan hubungan rendah (CC=0,276).Simpulan: Faktor yang berhubungan dengan pemberian ASI secara eksklusif hanya dukungan tenaga kesehatan.Kata kunci: pekerjaan; pendidikan; pengetahuan; sikap; ASI eksklusifABSTRACTTitle: Factors Associated with Exclusive Breastfeeding in Cimekar Village, Bandung RegencyBackground: Based on the health profile data of Bandung Regency, it is known that the coverage of exclusive breastfeeding for infants < 6 months has reached 63.84% while in the Cileunyi District it has only reached 55.54%. This figure is still far from the achievement target of exclusive breastfeeding in Indonesia based on PP no. 33 of 2012 article 6 is 100%. Many factors can affect exclusive breastfeeding. The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors associated with exclusive breastfeeding in Cimekar Village, Cileunyi District, Bandung Regency.Method: Analytical observation with cross-sectional design. The number of samples was 68 mothers with babies aged 6-12 months who lived in Cimekar Village using a simple random sampling technique. The research instrument used a structured questionnaire to determine the characteristics of the sample (occupation, education, knowledge, and attitudes of the mother), family support, and health workers.Results: The results of this study showed that exclusive breastfeeding was 22.1% and most of the respondents did not work (95.6%). Further education (70.6%), good knowledge (61.8%), good attitude (63.2%). Good family support (79.4%) and good health worker support (60.3%). There was no significant relationship between work, education, knowledge, attitudes, and family support with exclusive breastfeeding (p > 0.05). Meanwhile, the support of health workers was significantly related to exclusive breastfeeding (p=0.018) and the closeness of the relationship was low (CC=0.276).Conclusion: The only factor related to exclusive breastfeeding is the support of health workers.Keywords: occupation; education; knowledge; attitude; exclusive breastfeeding
