Proper treatment is needed to overcome the problems of obesity. The objective of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of Yoga, fast of Dawood, Green Tea, and Apple juice to suppressor PPAR-γ gene activity, C / EBPα, and SREBP-c to manage obesity in adolescents. The method used in this study was a literature review from journal publications through the database ScienceDirect, PUBMED, and google scholar, and the criteria were Indonesian and English with a range of publication years 2014-2019. Nine main articles were used as references in this study. These articles proved that yoga therapy could maintain the balance and health of the physical, emotional, and spiritual dimensions, and Fast of Dawood can limit the amount of calorie intake at a particular time. Yoga and Fast of Dawood exercise can reduce adipogenesis and induce reverse cholesterol transport, cellular cholesterol released, reduced pro-inflammatory cytokines dan decreased the incidence of obesity.
Complementary feeding (CF) practices have an essential role in determining the nutritional status of children. Children who are given early complementary feeding (ECF) are at risk of malnutrition. Besides, children with family farmers tend to have wasting or overweight because they cannot provide food in a variety, quantity, and quality according to the nutritional needs of their children. This study aimed to determine the relationship of ECF with nutritional status in children 6-24 months towards family farmers. This correlational study was conducted using a cross-sectional approach. Samples were 75 children aged 6-24 months selected using purposive sampling. This research was conducted at Geger Health Center Bangkalan Regency. Data collection was done by giving questionnaires to children parents. Children's weight-for-height z-score (WHZ) were calculated using WHO Anthro version application 3.2.2. The chi-square test analyzed the association between CF and nutritional status. The results of the study showed that the nutritional status of 75 children was normal (72%), overweight (25.3%), and wasted (2.7%). Most mothers have been given ECF since infants aged two months (29.3%) and 0 months (13%), which caused 36.4% of children to become overweight. Bivariate analysis showed a significant relationship between CF with nutritional status to children aged 6-24 months towards family farmers (p-value=0.033). ECF caused children aged 6-24 months to become overweight. Therefore, it is hoped that health workers will always give health education to increase mothers' knowledge about exclusive breastfeeding to support the nutritional status of children aged 6-24 months towards family farmers.
Patients with post-acute coronary syndrome (ACS) require cardiac rehabilitation. However, there were obstacles in in-hospital cardiac rehabilitation (IHCR), so that itimpacts on recurrence and a decreased quality of life. This paper analyzes the potentialof home-based cardiac rehabilitation (HBCR) via Telehealth in post-ACS patients inIndonesia. It was a literature review study. We used articles from electronic mediathrough the keywords home-based cardiac rehabilitation, Telehealth, and acute coronarysyndrome. Journals were obtained through search sites on Google Scholar, ScienceDirect, PubMed, and ProQuest. The identification criteria were using Indonesian andEnglish with the year of publication from 2015 to 2020. Then, we analysed andsynthesized eligible publications using the PRISMA method. Findings from eightjournals showed that the most common barriers for patients in in-hospital cardiacrehabilitation were logistical barriers (distance, time, functional status) and the patient'sinsufficient knowledge regarding the importance of cardiac rehabilitation. HBCR is animplementation model that has the potential as an effective solution in overcominglogistical limitations between patients and doctors. Care providers in several developedcountries have implemented HBCR. It significantly improved medication adherence, outcome, and safety profile in patients. Furthermore, virtual cardiac rehabilitationprovided the same outcome and safety profile as IHCR. Indonesia needs to developHBCR via Telehealth for secondary prevention management in patients after heartevents, especially ACS. Developing Telehealth could reduce complications andrecurrence, improve lifestyle and physical
