Diabetic peripheral neuropathy is a common, disabling, and costly complication of diabetes mellitus. In order to reach an exact diagnosis of electrophysiological studies and the evaluation of diabetic neuropathy it is crucial to obtain information about these variables. The information provided by electrodiagnosis is functional and not static, telling the practitioner how nerve and muscle are functioning. It is known that after a peripheral nerve, peripheral sensitization aberrant regeneration may occur alongside this the mobilization of the nervous system is an essential approach to physical treatment of pain. Neurodynamics encompasses interactions between mechanics and physiology of the nervous system. Alongside this, neurodynamic as a physical innovative therapy has been seldom used and in fact may be beneficial in preserving nerve function thus preventing the adverse effects of intraneural edema. That is, the rationale for the use of neurodynamic diagnosis and treatment is that it is considered capable of detecting the increased nerve structure associated with these conditions.
Abstract-This study evaluated the degree of influence of government investments in Science, Technology, Research and Innovation (STR&I), patent grants and the Innovation Law on the growth level of the Brazilian economy. A descriptive and quantitative approach was made using the double-log econometric model for a temporal sample from 2000 to 2016. The results point to the inelasticity of the STR&I indicator on the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of marginal percentage increases of this indicator have a positiveimpact on GDP, increasing it by 0.68%. In addition, it is possible to infer a high semi-elasticity of the Innovation Law on economic expansion, with its implementation impacting 33% on the average increase in Brazilian GDP between 2005 and 2016. The patent indicator was not statistically significant. It was concluded that the estimated parameters of the STR&I indicator and the Law of Innovation demonstrate the importance of these investments for the economic performance of the country. It is essential to defend the need to consolidate the regulation of intellectual protection and the promotion and diffusion of public policies aimed at the generation and amplification of national technological innovation.
