The nucleusGe has been studied via the +Zn{n, 2ny) Ge reaction at E~= 30 MeV using different in-beam y spectroscopic techniques. Levels up to 5.5 MeV have been identified and spins up to 8+ have been established.NUCLEAR REACTIONS +Zn{n, 2ny) E~= 30 MeV, yy coincidences, angular distributions, level scheme deduced.
A compilation of a large number of experimental results supporting a crude shell-model description of twonucleon high-spin states is presented, A simple addition rule is deduced: In even nuclei the energy of a state involving two nucleons coupled to their maximum spin value is simply the sum of the experimental energies of each nucleon in its single-particle state in the neighboring nucleus plus the pairing energy when. the two nucleons are identical. This simple model gives predictions in a parameter-free way, all the involved data being extracted from experiments. NUCLEAR STRUCTURE. E Very simple shell-model. Location of two-nucleon" high-spin states, coupling to maximum spin of the two nucleons.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
