The School Location Information Application is an application developed to produce various information and it can be seen and distributed in order to support school tracking and their locations. School Location Information Application is done by collecting data analysis, design, and implementation stages. This application is made by Android base for clients using Java programming language and the server base on web to process data using HTML and PHP accompanied by SQL as the database manager. However, The Haversine Formula method is used to determine distance between user’s location and school location that they want. The result of this application development is expected to be able to solve some problems related to the school tracking and to support the users to easily find the closest school with available information.
Batik is a traditional cloth made by painting motifs with Indonesian culture nuance on plain cloth. It has always been used by the people, from their birth until marriage, even someone who died using batik cloth as a cover. Batik cloth made with philosophy and symbolic meaning. Every region in Indonesia has a characteristic according to the circumstances and character of the man himself. There are three ways to make batik, such as using stamps, handmade, printing. Every type of batik has different types of patterns, and there is a repetition of a pattern and a combination of several patterns. Based on the type of batik, handmade batik has the highest price, and printing batik has the lowest prices. For batik lovers, handmade batik would want to have, but not everyone knows how to characterize the stamps batik and often mistaken in the detection of the type of batik. Thus, only a few people can distinguish the differences between the three types of batik. It is difficult for ordinary people to recognize a batik pattern. The purpose of this research is to create a prototype system that can detect the patterns of batik motifs created by handmade or stamps. Cosine similarity is used in this research to recognize the pattern and classified handmade or stamps batik. The results of this research is 95% in detecting handmade and stamp batik, then 91% in detecting sum of pattern in stamps batik.
The more rapid and large number of electronic documents stored in University library repositories or Departments, such as scientific works from academicians including theses, research reports, etc., are available in the digital version. In the process of grouping the thesis title automatically it is hoped that it can help policy makers such as the head of the study program. In this case the researcher uses fuzzy c-means algorithm which can group data in clusters so that the data of a cluster has a high level of equality with each other. In the application there is a text mining method which is a development of data mining that can be applied to overcome thesis grouping problems or research data. The result is a web that can classify research data / thesis data with a total accuracy of 96%. This number is the accuracy given based on the performance of the fuzzy c-means algorithm on the system.
Encyclopedia anatomy is an android application to introduce anatomy, equipped with a search feature, multiple choice quizzes and guess image quizzes. Due to some anatomical term is uptake from foreign languages and frequently typing errors by a smartphone user, then search feature in this application implement fuzzy string matching method which uses Levenshtein distance algorithm. However, the results obtained are still not accurate, then added method of splitting and indexing, so the results are more accurate and search process fast enough. Due to more simple than a book and supported by a good appearance, this application can get a positive response from the users.
